Our Lord has directed us to “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation" (Mark 16:15). That good news is the gospel of Jesus, that "While we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8).

Preaching the good news (evangelism) involves strengthening the faith of those who already know the gospel, and spreading it to those who don't yet know Jesus as their Savior. The Evangelism Committee of St. Paul's seeks to do both by:

  • Fostering spiritual growth and unity witihin the congregation through Bible Classes and fellowship opportunities

  • Giving opportunities for our congregation to go into our communities and tell of Jesus' love.

Watch for future events to be posted on our website (or the calendar). For more information, contact Pastor Steve Kruschel.

Evangelism

Ladies Guild is a joint organization with ladies from St. Paul’s in Platteville and sister congregation Faith in Lancaster. They meet on the first Thursday of each month at St. Paul's. In addition to business meetings, they also have an annual picnic, an outing and a Christmas Party.

The Guild gives semi-annual gifts to home and foreign missions, has bible studies to strengthen spiritual needs, organize many fellowship dinners for the congregations, create banners to symbolize their beliefs in the Triune God and assist the pastor and congregations as needed.
Meetings are usually held on the first Thursday of each month at 1:30pm. Contact Lois Mueller (nordic@mhtc.net) if interested.

We offer Sunday School at 10:15am (after our weekly worship service) to children from age 3 up to 8th grade.

Each week the children learn a new lesson from the Bible and what it teaches them about their Savior, Jesus. They also get to sing songs of praise to God and make fun crafts based on the lesson.

For more information, please contact Pastor Kruschel (608) 349-6776.

Sunday School

Many students from UW-Platteville attend our worship services at 9:00am and travel together to get here. If you are interested in travelling with the group to Sunday worship or are interested in other Campus Ministry events, ask Pastor Steve Kruschel (stpaulsplatteville@gmail.com) and he will give you a student representative contact info. We also gather together for weekly Bible studies on Thursday evenings at 6:00pm in the yellow building across from the church. Check the church calendar for specifics. Please join us!
